American Football, a
Sport for men
Where serenity and
Prudence are rebuked.
Audacity is the only
Way to go. It is
Difficult to depict
So much savagery.
Frenzy, fury, and forcefulness
Are profuse. Whoever has the ball
Must run for his life like a gazelle
Trying to escape the grasp of a lion.
Only the skilled
One can escape
From the claws
Of death.
Whoever gets
On the field
Is embarking
To a path of pain.
This game is not
For concientous people
You must follow your
Instincts and be victorious.

Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix, is a very compelling dystopian – a novel that takes place at an imperfect society- that follows the life of Luke, a third child that is banned by law. This novel is the first book in the Shadow Children sequence. This book may appeal to dystopian geeks.
Luke, the protagonist of the story, is a shy 12 year old boy who has never been part of society because he must be kept hidden. He does play with his brothers Mark and Matthew but other than that he doesn’t socialize.
The theme of this story is fairly easy to spot as the author gives subtle hints to what it is. The theme is a really broad theme that must be instilled in our childhood.
Among the Hidden gives you a lot of background information about Luke thus the conflict of the story comes in a bit late, but this background information is vital for the book and specially for the series in itself. It shows you how Luke has lived. The climax is very unexpected and will leave readers shocked.
This book is not as action packed as most people would like, but it seems like the series will, so I will continue reading it. I would recommend this book for people that wil be patient and read the first couple of books in the series, or for people that like dystopian novels.

My Father
is a gasman,
My father is plus gasoline,
My father is premium diesel.
But derived from regular octane.
He is a Mercedes Benz
Not a Lamborghini
Nor a hummer
But derived from a Chevrolet Vega.
He is always telling
The right way to
Put the engine.
But was taught first.
Thanks to his manufacturing
I am now a BMW.
Not a hummer.
And I derived from a Mercedes.

Confession Tuesday
Thursday everybody was partying like a rock star because a substitute came. I remember someone grabbing the pointer with the purple hand and tucking their and hand in their shirt and using the pointer as a prosthetic arm. When the sub came by and asked for the pointer he said “Hey it’s my prosthetic arm, you want to take my arm away?” There were several cases like that, but of course I was a good boy and did all my work (did you ever doubt it). So on Monday while she was having a tirade addressing the whole class I wondered why I was being accused for, until she started handing out lollipops to the good people and then what went through my mind was: God let her give me a lollipop. She went by every table grimaces pervading among the people who didn’t receive lollipops. She finally arrived at our table and held out a lollipop HELL YEAHH! I thought, but my dreams where crushed when Tiffany took a hold of it. Then she held out another lollipop this time for me and I felt a surge of happiness run through me.

It was a Saturday morning and it was sunny outside, but my eyes where fixed on the screen. My mom and brother where there, but tossed into oblivion because of the apparatus. The computer possesed infinite knowledge but I wasn’t using any of it. I just used it for entertainment. Chatting with friends for hours talking nonsense about recurring themes, Nicholas going on an interminable tirade about how despondent he felt when Ally left. But all the feedback he received was “cool story bro” (I wont mention more people because then everybody will get all mad, but of course I bother Nicholas because its fun). It seems like most people are like that and technology is taking over sports. From this I realized I should go out and play more.

An organized person
Who does everything
In time…or so it seems.
He is actually a really
Busy man who procrastinates
Everything. But he is very smart.
For anyone saying
I’m not like him,
You are wrong.
I was chosen to carry
His name for a reason
Diego ARMANDO CAMPOS.
Because I am a smart,
Busy person who leaves
Everything for last minute,
But its because I have the
Ability to do so.
Who does everything

Weird Fetishes
Do you have friends that have pretty weird fetishes? Well I do, Tiffany and Natalia. Since the beginning of the year they have been asking boys (started with Pablo but now it’s all boys in school) to lend them there watches, I don’t know if a boy lending a watch to girl is some kind of learn to dance metaphor, so here is how it went today. During history class Tiff and Natalia has entreated me to lend them my watch, but I rebuffed their request because I had made an agreement with Pablo that we would not lend our watches to them. Then I proceeded to taunt them taking off my watch and holding it in front of their faces, but I was quickly surprised, before I could move my hand away they both got a hold of it, and basically tackled me. It was a pretty long struggle, and my hand started aching because my watch is not exactly made out of rubber, but after a while I triumphed over them and got my watch back. This was again followed by more begging to give me the watch and offers of hugs. After hugs and tackles I decided it was best to succumb to their fetishes, but who would I give it to? Their eyes where shining begging me to give it to them and then Tiffany asked me something very meaningful “What have I ever done to you?” I thought about it and she had done nothing to me while Natalia on the other hand… let’s just not talk about that. So I gave my watch to Tiffany she had the biggest smile I had ever seen. I did it to annoy Natalia also. Anyhow from this I have learned that having a cool watch is not always the best thing. I wonder who am I going to give my watch to tomorrow?
