“Faith, come here!” my dad yelled from the kitchen,
“Ok I’m coming” I yelled back
“Faith I got something to tell you about your mom” he said in a deep tone looking at the floor. Tears rolled down his eyes.”Your mom is…dead, she got murdered” He finally said. I stared at him with disbelief, and after a few seconds I cried, cried, cried.
All the time my dad always had a big smile on his face; but that day he never smiled. I went to bed; I had a rough day handling those news. I cried myself to sleep. I had a dream, where my mom was taking me to the park to play ball. When we finished and I was going to hug her, she got farther and farther and in a soft tone said “Goodbye daughter take care of your dad”. I tried to chase her, but it was no use. I woke up sweating.
“I would do anything to get my mom back!!!” I shouted to the ceiling.
“So you would do anything?” a high pitched I didn’t recognize said.looked in front of me and it was something flying in front of me with a little wand… it was a fairy! I rubbed my eyes, and pinched myself, this was not a dream.” Answer me do you want your mom back or not?” asked the fairy desperately
“Of course I do” I said without thinking.
“Ok I’ll give you your mom back if you can give me my stone” the fairy said and at the same time handed me a map.
“Rickety, rackety, ruckity.” The fairy said and next thing I know, I’m in a dim place with lots of trees. The fairy appeared next to me.”This is the secret garden, follow what the map says and find the stone.” I opened the map and saw only two sentences.

Defeat the Nack to get your mom back
The fairy disappeared without saying anything else. I examined the paper to see if there was anything hidden that could help me, but it was just a piece of old paper with two sentences. I’ll give it a try I thought and without hesitating I ran full speed against a tree and before I hit it I got teleported. The place was dark and I could see a light ahead. As I entered the room tears filled my eyes, I saw a shiny stone, it was gold with silver. As I was walking towards the stone I heard a loud growl Nack Nack, a big red monster with black eyes. I walked back as the Nack came forward. I felt something cold in the back of my leg. I looked backwards, it was a big sword. I grabbed it but kept walking back. I heard a voice in my head “Save me daughter.” It was my mom’s voice. I ran full speed and with a violent swing of the sword chopped its head off.
“You did it” said the fairy. It proceeded to grab the stone, and said “Rickety rackety ruckity.
“Wake up honey” A sweet voice said, the voice was really familiar. I opened my eyes, my mom was there!
“Mom!”I yelled and stood up to hug her.”I missed you so much mom.”
“Why did you miss me I saw you yesterday?” my mom answeared confused
“You where dead mom” I said and started to cry again.
“I’ll go get the thermometer” she said worried, and walked out the room.
I saw a card sitting in my table. I opened it, it went like this:
For Faith,
Thank you for getting my stone, I gave you your mom back. I’m afraid we will never meet again. Keep it as a secret never say you saw me.
